Easy to put together. We had several raised beds and a pond in a row, so worth nothing that the capping timbers do have an overlap of 1cm (had to get the saw out!) But they look great having dried out after a fortnight.

Consider other options

Overall disappointed with this product, brought and selected delivery for a Friday, arranged the day of work for an email to say it will arrive Friday, but a call saying I have to arrange delivery separately and rude customer service team member. When it arrived, the pallet was wrapped up and dripping the wood has mould on it and needed drying out, when following the instruction and building it was clear the blocks don't align and build as easily as it would suggest. The holes slightly different sizes and took a day to assemble as each cut wasn't aligning, likewise the liner sent was excessively large for the pond, instruction to fit weren't overly clear. The individual struts showed signs of damage and poor quality, for what it is, it is okay, but disappointed but the cost for quality and was hoping it would be a nice addition to the garden. Tried to contact the customer service didn't receive a response to my email / message.

Delivery was delayed. Did find it quite labour intensive to knock the wood into place. Did not come with a spare block to help Top part of pond needed a large weight to knock it into place

Looks fine now but it wasn’t quite as easy to put together as they make out. I had to cut through most of the holes as they hadn’t been drilled through properly and the back of my pond is made up of one large piece and one small so the small bit sticks up and looks a bit funny. Could have probably have done better for the money.

This product fills every adult child's dreams, what's not to love. Giant lego kit with instruction to use force around the capping edge. Went together soooo easily bringing out my inner child and then vent pent up energy with a lump hammer at the end. Would highly recommend this product as a fibreglass alternative came in at 200% more in cost. Would order another tomorrow if only my garden wasn't a postage stamp. Thank you for a wonderful product that does what it say on the tin plus the fun constructing it. Thank you. 10/10 all day long.

Great wooden blocks, once we got ground prepared did not take us long. The pond liner is massive but I knew this before I ordered it with the kit. Great quality liner. We had to finish for the day due to other commitments, so still to fit the capping. But all in all definitely a fantastic product. It's well worth the money as it looks solid and must say it feels like a piece of garden furniture. The wildlife are going to love it. Only advice I would give to others is take your time ensuring the ground is level and read the handy instructions. The only thing I wish they would do in designs is an overflow. But hoping I won't need to fit one because it's for wildlife. If heavy rain I will lower the level. Thanks woodblocx oh and the great delivery driver who was very professional and friendly. Will add pictures when all finished and planted.

There were no instructions on how to fit the pond liner but a quick e-mail to the company was answered within minutes and provided a link to a video on YouTube which sorted the issue. Your product is amazing. If I had not gone over budget on my project I would today be seriously considering purchasing more WoodBlocX products. My only criticism and this is very minor and should not be considered as slight against the product, was down to the pond liner, which came with the WoodBlocX product, in that I feel a box liner would have helped me more and saved me time. But that aside WoodBlocX is amazingly simple to construct and strangely when completed you get a good sense of accomplishment, even though I did very little in its construction. I would highly recommend this product to all my friends and anyone else. One other issue I would like to mention was I had cause to call WoodblocX customer service support for some minor clarification issues, and they were simply superb at dealing with my enquiry, no fuss no drama they were brilliant, a credit to the company. So I’m happy to say I am saving up for my next WoodblocX project.

We bought a pond from WoodBlocX. The website made it easy to choose the product we wanted and we could get the customised size at no extra cost. The pond pieces arrived on time on a pallet all wrapped in cling film. Non of the pieces were damaged and the wood was really good quality and very chunky. I sorted the pieces into the different sizes so they were easy to pick up when I started building. I love the system as you just put the connectors provided in the correct holes and give it a hit with a mallet. The first row was more difficult as I had to level the area with sand but from the second row it was brilliant. I am not good with a drill and screws but using this system was easy and really satisfying to do as it went together really quickly. It looks great. I did struggle with the pond liner which made the top rail cap harder to fit so I recommend you smooth the liner out carefully before you fill the pond so you don’t have a problem. I think this is an amazing building system and it is really good quality. I am looking round my garden to see what I can build from the next. I cannot recommend them enough-brilliant.

Very solid product, easy to assemble although didn’t get instructions with the kit but easy to workout yourself, you can download the instructions but I couldn’t, ,probably down to me , good with my hands but not so tech savvy. Surprised you have to cut some of the capping, most of it is done, just two cuts to finish off thought it would be pre done but no big deal. Overall I would buy again

We purchased a kit for a raised pond. All arrived earlier than expected after a call from the delivery company a couple of days in advance to make sure we could take delivery. Very easy to put together with very basic tools. No need to trim down the frame to size. As this was goi g onto a paved patio we did not use the ground spikes. Pond li er was more than enough to do the job. We did use old carpet under the liner first but the quality of the liner was excellent. Easy to trim down with a craft knife after it was filled with water and the capping pieces were in place.

The blocx were fairly easy to put together following the layer by layer plans. Though my wrist ached after wielding the lump hammer continuously, I would suggest building in stages. The hardest part was getting the base level. After that it was just like building lego.
